Planning a stag do or a hen do is a serious responsibility: one person gets the job, everyone else gets the opinions. If your group has chosen Marbella, the best decision is already made. The second-best: putting a private yacht charter from Puerto Banús at the centre of the weekend. Here is everything you need to know — which yacht to choose, what it costs, what is included and how to build the perfect day.
Why Marbella Is One of Europe's Top Stag and Hen Destinations
Marbella has everything a group needs: reliable sunshine most of the year, short direct flights from every major European city and a nightlife scene running from laid-back beach bars to some of the most famous clubs on the continent. Puerto Banús, the glamorous marina just west of town, is the natural base — restaurants, bars, boutiques and superyachts packed into a few walkable streets.
What sets Marbella apart from other stag and hen capitals: the days are as good as the nights — beach clubs, the old town, golf and, above all, the Mediterranean itself. A stag do boat in Marbella or a hen do yacht in Puerto Banús turns the best part of the destination, the sea, into your private venue.
Why a Yacht Beats Every Other Group Activity
Bars and clubs are shared with everyone else in town; a private yacht is exclusively yours. The music is your playlist, the bar opens the moment you leave the marina, and nobody is around to interrupt the speeches, the games or the embarrassing stories.
It is also the great equaliser: not everyone in a group of twelve wants the same night out, but everyone enjoys jumping into clear blue water, racing a jet ski or being thrown off a donut ride. And the crew handles everything — navigation, safety, drinks, food, clean-up — so the organiser finally gets to enjoy their own event.
And nothing photographs like a yacht day — the bow shot with Puerto Banús behind you is the picture everyone posts.

What Is Included on Every Charter
The Perfect Stag or Hen Day — Sample Itinerary
The 4-hour charter (the warm-up): board in Puerto Banús morning or afternoon, glasses poured as you cruise past the superyachts to a quiet bay. Anchor, swim, take turns on the jet ski and donut, music up on the way home. Back on the dock by early evening — time to shower, dress and head out for dinner and a long night.
The 8-hour full day (the main event): everything above, unhurried: more time at anchor, the full water-toy rotation and — on the Venus — the inflatable water slide, only available on full-day charters. Long lunch on deck, a second swim stop, the ride home in golden light. Many groups make this the centrepiece of the weekend.
Built for Marbella Nightlife
A yacht day slots perfectly into the weekend: Puerto Banús is one of the few places in Europe where you step off a yacht and are surrounded by bars, restaurants and clubs within a few minutes' walk. The beach club scene around Puerto Banús and the Golden Mile is world-famous, and an afternoon charter is the classic warm-up. For more ideas, see our guide to things to do in Puerto Banús.
Practical Tips from Our Crew
FAQ
How much does a stag or hen party yacht in Marbella cost per person? With a full group of 12, a 4-hour charter on La Brisa or Vibe works out at just over 150€ per person, the Swederm at under 190€ and the flagship Venus at around 580€ — open bar, catering, crew, fuel and water toys included. All prices are per boat, VAT included.
Can we bring decorations and our own music? Yes — every yacht has Spotify and WiFi, so your playlist runs the day. Decorations, special bottles or surprises for the bride or groom can be arranged; just let us know in advance.
Is a yacht party safe for a big group? Yes. Every charter sails with a qualified captain and professional crew, life jackets are on board for all guests and water activities are always supervised — a private, controlled environment, far safer than a crowded venue.
How far in advance should we book? For July and August, two to three months ahead is a safe rule. In other months a few weeks usually suffices — but popular Saturdays go first, so confirm the date as soon as the group agrees.
